What you'll need

  • Your personal details and contact information
  • Information about your family and household
  • Details about your child who is deaf or has hearing loss, and is a primary school or early years age, including babies
  • Information about support services your child receives
  • A copy of a document from a third party professional which tells us about your child's hearing condition
  • Approximately 15-20 minutes to complete

Your privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Before you complete this application form, you should make sure you read our Terms and Conditions, which contains our Data Protection statement. We will ask you a mixture of mandatory and non-mandatory questions. The mandatory information you provide will be used solely to assess your grant application. All other responses are not part of our decision making processes, but we do encourage their completion to support the wider work of the National Deaf Children's Society.

Save your progress

Your application will be securely stored for 10 days, after which point it will be deleted. Any in progress applications at the time that this programme closes will also be deleted.

Do you meet the criteria to apply?

To qualify for a National Deaf Children's Society grant, you must:

  • Live in the UK
  • Are you applying for a child age 0-11, or still in primary education?
  • Is the child deaf? (We use the term 'deaf' to refer to all types of deafness and hearing loss, from mild to profound. This includes deafness in one ear and temporary deafness such as glue ear.)
